Several airlines serve Kahului Airport (OGG) on Maui direct from the mainland and from other islands. Inter-island flights also serve the nearby Kapalua-West Maui Airport. A car is essential on Maui and it is best to reserve one before your arrival. To get to the Mahina Surf from the Kahului Airport, just follow the signs to Lahaina, taking Highway 380 from the airport to route 30. Turn left and stay on Highway 30 past Lahaina and the Kaanapali Resort. Turn left on Akalele Street (traffic signal), go to the end and turn right. The Mahina Surf is just on the left. The scenic drive takes about an hour.
